Best-Hall has been manufacturing buildings for almost 50 years. There are already over 5,000 fabric structures, or fabric-covered buildings, built by Best-Hall around the world. Most of the buildings are unheated warehouses for the storage of a wide range of products. However, many products stored or production activities require heated space, and Best-Hall’s fabric structures can also be insulated to create a warm space quickly and affordably. The insulation can be installed in different thicknesses, resulting in either a semi-warm or warm building.
For products sensitive to the cold
A heat-insulated building is a good place to store boats during the winter, for example. Today’s boats are equipped with so much electronics that storing them in an unheated building, protected only from snow, is no longer enough for everyone. If you contact us in late summer when the boating weather is still good, your warm fabric structure will be ready just in time for when the boats are brought ashore and put into winter storage. All that is needed is to set the asphalt foundation in the autumn and then, before snowfall, we install the frame, cladding, insulation and any necessary accessories.
Efficient production facilities
A warm, insulated fabric-covered building also makes for a great production facility. Inside the building, there is free space without pillars to organise your production in an efficient way. The working conditions are comfortable and bright, and you will not be cold. Salvos Finland Oy ordered new, stunning production facilities from Best-Hall, facilitating significant growth for the company in Pyhäntä, Finland. Salvos is in the ideal situation of being able to heat the building with surplus wood chips from production. An insulated fabric structure is also an excellent option for storing finished timber. This original solution is more affordable than a traditional building and much quicker for urgent needs.
Affordable sports facilities
Also for sports, Best-Hall’s insulated fabric structure is an excellent and affordable option. The building can be either semi-warm or warm. The thickness of the insulation affects the heating demand and energy consumption. In our most recent projects, the insulation thickness has varied between 150 and 200 mm for walls and 350 and 600 mm for the roof. The ideal space for sports can be achieved with a sufficient insulation thickness and appropriate heating. The free space without pillars also allows the building to be used for a wide variety of sports. The building can house playing fields, courts, a running track, other athletics facilities or a CrossFit area, for example. Areas and fields for different sports can be separated by partitions if necessary. For example, there can be several padel courts in the building, and parts of the building can be dedicated to tennis or badminton.
