Sports building for training sessions, competitions and events

Best-Hall’s sports building offers versatile, durable premises for the needs of various sports and public events. Compared with traditional buildings, it is competitively priced and is the best choice in terms of adaptability.

The building is ideally suited to sports and events that require a large, open space without the obstruction of supporting columns. It is suitable for ice hockey, equestrian sport, athletics, tennis, golf, floorball, badminton, a range of athletic and field events, or even as a full-sized football pitch.

Get yourself spacious, stylish premises

Offering stable conditions
The high-quality sports building offers protection from rain, wind, snow and ice, considerably expanding the time that several seasonal sports can be played. The durable, protective building provides stable conditions for ball sports, equestrian sports, ice hockey and field events.

Highly adaptable
The sports building can easily be divided into areas of different sizes using partition walls. The large contiguous space is easy to divide into smaller areas using light PVC wall solutions or netting, enabling several different sports to be played at the same time. You can build partition wall structures yourself or order them pre-installed from Best-Hall.

Space for events
The building offers open premises for various events, exhibitions or conventions. As the structures are typically installed directly into asphalt, it is possible to transport machinery within the building and it is no problem to erect temporary exhibition structures.

Nordkapp municipality, Norway

In January 2009, Best-Hall delivered a football building to Nordkapp in Northern Norway. The project was jointly executed by the municipality of Nordkapp and Honningsvåg Turn & Idrettsforening, a sports club. Half of the financing came from public sources, while the other half was from donors and sponsors.

The design of the building took into consideration the local snow and wind loads. The project has provided Nordkapp municipality with an open, column-free indoor playing field that can be used all year round. Not even the severe winter conditions can prevent people from enjoying hobbies in the northern-most covered football facility in the world.

Preparations and project work for the Nordkapp hall delivery were handled from Finland. “The building is of a very high technical standard. Best-Hall designed it to withstand our harsh winter and extreme conditions. A high-quality delivery – both in terms of the building and customer service,” says Per Ivar Pettersen, Technical Manager at Nordkapp municipality.

Pedersöre Jäähalli, Finland

Best-Hall built an indoor ice rink in Pedersöre, Finland in 2008. The building is a hybrid solution made of sandwich elements and membrane cladding.

Kaj Boström, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pedersöre Jäähalli Oy, says: “When we were selecting a building supplier, Best-Hall’s extensive experience and the company’s various different deliveries swayed it for us. The fact that Best-Hall has delivered buildings of all sizes, with and without insulation, convinced us that we were making the right decision.

As a partner, Best-Hall was very reliable – the building was delivered according to schedule. Right from the start, we were assured of the high quality of the product. Since we began using the building, everybody has been very positive about it. It is a well designed, practical, light building where people enjoy spending time.”
